GAP Studio UTAS

Intro

Project Partner UTAS

My Role Studio manager/student mentor

Brief/Objective An in-house design studio run from the UTAS design department, the GAP studio was a dynamic and innovative platform that aimed to provide students with valuable opportunities to work with real-world clients in the field of design.

The design studio operated within the university premises, and is managed by faculty members who have expertise in design and project management who act as mentors, guiding and supporting students throughout the design process.

The studio functions as a professional environment. Servicing the not-for-profit sector at cost only, it was equipped with the necessary tools and resources to deliver end-to-end products.

Six pictures of students working in the studio.

The above images show Gap Studio student work and the students working in the studio.
