Client The Office of the Victorian Government Architect (OVGA)
My Role Visual Design
Brief The Office of the Victorian Government Architect (OVGA) Annual report needed to communicate to the wider Architectural community that it was a leader in enhancing the quality of built environments in Victoria.
Process
Over the course of a year OVGA took surveys and accumulated data on their Victorian projects ranging from the mundane to the ridiculous, from the silly to the professional.
Through design, including the way we simply choose to lay out a report, we imbue all sorts of messages to our users, whilst also making a functional and useful end product. The OVGA promotes an awareness about how good design can make things great; living places and urban environments. It’s readership has a sophisticated design eye, and in order to be taken seriously, the report needed to live up to those standards.
